Beautiful antique English Windsor stool dating from the 19th century. Crafted from solid oak, this traditional stool features a thick round seat with a beautiful grain, turned legs and a classic H-stretcher for added stability. Originally made as a practical country stool, it can still be used as seating today or as a plant stand, side table or decorative accent. The stool is in good antique condition with age-related signs of use consistent with its age. The seat has developed a beautiful patina over the years and shows wear, small marks and minor cracks typical for a piece of this age. One of the legs is plain rather than turned and is likely an old replacement. It is made from matching oak and blends in well with the rest of the stool. The stool is sturdy and ready for use.
The dimensions of the stool are 61.5 (H) x 32.5 (W) x 32.5 (D) cm // 24.2" (H) x 12.8" (W) x 12.8" (D).
